Our Trojans took part in World Suicide Prevention Day today. Both campuses participated in the national candle lighting activity to honor those we have lost and those who have been impacted by suicide. This candle lighting is a way of our Trojan community showcasing that together we can be the light for each other.
The Valley Campus Student Government leaders and Staff Advisor handed out stress relieving tools to remind our students about the candle lighting activity and resources including our campus Behavioral Intervention Team. Both campuses have a positive relationship with our community Behavioral Health Partners to aid any mental health needs. Our Trinidad Campus Student leaders shared messages of hope and national resources:
