There is yet another postcard mailer that is going out to all Colorado residents/voters. You all will be receiving or received a postcard from the United State Postal Service. On this postcard item number 3 states that you should request your ABSENTEE ballot 15 days prior to the election which could cause some confusion because Colorado is an all mail out ballot state already and has been since 2013. You see, if you are an active registered voter in Colorado and your mailing address on your voter record is correct you will automatically be receiving your ballot through the mail without having to request anything (ABSENTEE ballot) and Colorado's mail ballots will automatically be mailed during the week of October 12-16, 2020. If you want to check your voter registration record and confirm that you will be receiving a ballot in the mail go to www.govotecolorado.gov.
Call your County Clerk & Recorder's Office if you have any election questions.
