Early this morning at approximately 3:30 a.m., Officer Lowell Griffiths attempted to stop a silver Honda on Troy Ave. that had eluded him the day prior. The vehicle again failed to stop and was last seen on a side streets off of Troy Ave.

Approx. ten minutes later, another officer located the vehicle in the drive-thru of a restaurant on Hwy 50 West. The officer contacted the female driver who provided him with a false name and date of birth. The female was ultimately arrested and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The search yielded an identification card with the female’s real name, Marisa Palmas (28-years-old). Officers also located a handgun, Methamphetamine, and a notebook containing credit card information (i.e., credit card numbers, expiration dates, PINs and names).

Palmas was booked into the PCDC on the charges of Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender, Criminal Impersonation and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Great job by all of the officers involved!
