Rocky Ford Stories

The First Friday art show on Friday, October 2, 5:30 -7:00 pm is featuring the third edition of “Rocky Ford Stories.” This time our Japanese and German heritage will be featured along with tools of the 19th and early 20th century, apron, and Iron Springs, a stop on the Santa Fe Trail. Rob Marshall and Bill Butler will read poems around 6:00 p.m. If you remember past editions of Rocky Ford Stories, you know that interesting artifacts, information, and stories will be featured.

Rocky Ford Stories #3 will show at the IDEA Place on Friday, October 3, 2020, 5:30 – 7:00. Included in the show will be Sally Cope’s apron collection, scenes from Rocky Ford by artists Thelma Schweitzer, Donna Abert and Laura Thompson. There will be a plethora of interesting items and information. Remember that at 6:00 pm there will be poetry and information about the Santa Fe Trail Historical Society.
