Beginning the week of October 5, the Unified Messaging briefings will be released on Mondays and Thursdays. The briefings contain case numbers, outbreaks, data, and pertinent state and local information pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic. The briefing will continue to be disseminated at 4 PM.

Health officials from the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment announced a Pueblo County resident has died related to COVID-19. A 61-year-old man who previously was reported positive for COVID-19 died. The reported deaths bring the total in Pueblo County to 38.

Public health officials from the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment announced 69 new positive COVID-19 cases in Pueblo County since Monday, September 28. The positive cases are a 6-year-old female, 8-year-old female, 20-year-old female, 21-year-old female, 23-year-old female, 27-year-old female, 28-year-old female, 30-year-old female, 30-year-old female, 31-year-old female, 31-year-old female, 32-year-old female, 37-year-old female, 37-year-old female, 38-year-old female, 38-year-old female, 39-year-old female, 41-year-old female, 42-year-old female, 44-year-old female, 46-year-old female, 48-year-old female, 48-year-old female, 51-year-old female, 53-year-old female, 54-year-old female, 60-year-old female, 61-year-old female, 61-year-old female, 63-year-old female, 63-year-old female, 66-year-old female, 67-year-old female, 74-year-old female, 75-year-old female, 88-year-old female, 95-year-old female, 6-year-old male, 8-year-old male, 20-year-old male, 21-year-old male, 23-year-old male, 24-year-old male, 31-year-old male, 34-year-old male, 36-year-old male, 37-year-old male, 37-year-old male, 38-year-old male, 42-year-old male, 43-year-old male, 47-year-old male, 49-year-old male, 50-year-old male, 54-year-old male, 57-year-old male, 63-year-old male, 67-year-old male, 68-year-old male, 68-year-old male, 70-year-old male, 71-year-old male, 73-year-old male, 76-year-old male, 76-year-old male, 89-year-old-male, 92-year-old male, 96-year-old male, and 64-year-old unavailable gender.

Pueblo County has a total of 1,169 confirmed positive and probable* cases among Pueblo County residents. The total number of people testing, 25,011 is not reflective of everyone testing negative in Pueblo County.

Confirmed and probable cases have been combined to align with state and national data. However, the COVID-19 Status Update chart will continue to show probable cases.

As cases continue to be investigated, the data in this update is subject to change.

*A probable case meets the clinical criteria and epidemiological evidence, yet it has not been laboratory confirmed with a test. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is now reporting probable cases across the state.
