Sheriff Elder is happy to announce that the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the 2020 #PinkPatchProject. The Pink Patch Project allows for sworn deputies to purchase and wear a vibrant pink version of the Sheriff’s Office patch in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These patches will be sold and worn from October 1st – 31st. This will be the 5th year that the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has participated in the Pink Patch Project. Over the last 4 years, the Sheriff’s Office and the Fraternal Order of Police – Lodge 9 have raised almost $50,000.00 in support of breast cancer patients and their families.

This year, all proceeds will be donated to the Memorial Hospital Foundation – Circle of Hope Fund. Patches and other commemorative items will be sold through their website and will be available to the public. https://www.uchealthmemorialcares.org/pinkpatch/
