#NationalFireNews #FireYear2020 Due to a decrease in initial attack activity and less competition for resources through the National Interagency Coordination Center (NICC), the National Multi-Agency Coordinating Group (NMAC) has lowered the National #PreparednessLevel to 3 (PL3), effective at 6:00 pm MDT, today, October 13.

The number of resources assigned to incidents has dropped approximately 4,300 over the past four days. Both Northern and Southern California geographic areas and the Rocky Mountain Geographic Area are active with large fires, and the Southwest continues to have initial attack.
