Pueblo City Council Monday Meeting to be held through video conferencing

The Pueblo City Council will hold its regular meeting on Monday, April 13th at 7:00pm.

Puebloans should be aware that the session will be held in compliance with the governor’s health order for social distancing. The council meeting will be conducted through the Zoom video conferencing platform, allowing remote access.

Mayor Nick Gradisar is urging all those interested in the council meeting to stay home and watch it on Comcast government access channel 17, on the city’s Facebook page, or on the live stream at

City Council gives residents the right of public comment. In person, a sign-up sheet will be available at 6:00pm in Council Chambers. Online, anyone wishing to participate in public forum or speak for or against an ordinance in its final reading via Zoom must first sign up by email through the city clerk’s office at The signup will begin at 6:00pm and end at 6:30pm. A mayor’s staff member will contact those who will speak via Zoom and facilitate their participation in the council meeting. The council meeting will begin at 7:00pm.

In March, Colorado Governor Jared Polis issued a health order calling for restrictions on mass gatherings due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. On the March 23rd council meeting, audience seating was restricted and separated in compliance with the order.

Mayor Gradisar emphasizes that social distancing is a crucial factor in mitigating the spread of the coronavirus.
