Walls Are Meant For Climbing: Fred Campbell (Southeast Colorado Springs)

Thanks to The North Face and The Trust for Public Land a new climbing boulder is headed to Panorama Park! This 13.5-acre neighborhood park, located in Southeast Colorado Springs, underwent a master planning process in 2019, and this is one of many exciting new features to come.

Of course, you don’t need a permit to use play features like this one, but please remember that bouldering in natural areas of City parks and open spaces requires a free, annual permit. It’s important to manage climbing on our ancient rock formations, both to protect these resources while also providing for the enjoyment and challenge of the sport.
