⭐️In an effort to make sure young cyclists remain safe on the road, the Pueblo County Sheriffs Office will be hosting its second bicycle safety event this coming weekend. Deputies with the PCSO Bicycle Patrol Unit will assist young riders by teaching bicycle safety tips and giving them an opportunity to test their bike riding skills in a safe, supervised environment. This event is scheduled from 10 AM to 11:30 AM Saturday, July 25, at the Emergency Services Building located at 101 W 10th St, Pueblo, CO. A third session is scheduled on August 1st at a TBD Location.

Children ages 5-12 years of age are welcome to attend as long as they can ride a bicycle, including bikes with training wheels. There’s no cost for participants, however they must provide their own bicycle. Helmets will be required and those who do not have a helmet will be provided one at the event and they can keep it. We will be practicing social distancing during each of these events. We will also have disposable masks available. Parent/guardian is required to attend with their child.

We’d love to see you there! 🚲
