City of Colorado Springs Fountains and Spraygrounds are now operating on reduced hours. These hours take effect every year as summer winds down and students start going back to school. Many of our sprayground attendants are students and are no longer available for summer work. By remaining open on weekends, we are able to extend our season as long as possible. Specific to Venezia, due to COVID-19 this is the first year we’ve had attendants, which is why it joins the other properties in reduced hours this year.

Current hours are as follows:

Deerfield Hills Sprayground – (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) plus regular hours on Labor Day, Sept 7th
Sessions start: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m.

Uncle Wilber Fountain – Saturdays and Sundays (12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) plus regular hours on Labor Day, Sept 7th
Sessions start: 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m.

Venezia Community Park – Saturdays and Sundays (11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) plus regular hours on Labor Day, Sept 7th
Sessions start: 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m.

The last day of operation for all fountains and spraygrounds will be Monday, September 7th.
