As our COVID-19 numbers continue to rise, washing hands regularly, staying at home when sick and being the first to put on a face mask among friends can make a big difference for our community. As we enter the winter months, remember, the path we choose is ours to take. Let’s continue to take those small acts to help keep our community safe and keep our economy strong.

For the last 14 days our positivity rate is 268.8 per 100,000 residents. The positivity rate is the number of positive tests divided by the total number of tests during the given two-week period.
Our incidence rate is 6.42 percent. The incidence rate is the number of positive cases per 100,000 people during the given two-week period. It is used to provide an understanding of the impact of the virus in the county.
Our local disease burden is steeply increasing. Although El Paso County remains in Safer-at-Home Level 1, if these trends continue, we are at risk of moving to a more restrictive level per CDPHE’s dial framework. We need your help to reverse the trend!
