COVID-19 Daily Report | Tuesday, November 17, 2020
Specific guidance (youth activities and safe gatherings) has been issued to accompany the Governor’s new Modified Stage 2 Order. They can be found here or will be posted here when available: https://rebound.idaho.gov/business-specific-protocols-for-…/.
We have 220 new cases of COVID-19 to report today. The cases are in the following counties: Bonneville (134), Fremont (1), Jefferson (25), Lemhi (4), Madison (47), and Teton (9). As of today, there are 54 residents from our health district hospitalized due to COVID-19. We are also saddened to report the death of six (6) community members: a woman in her 70s from Bonneville County and five men in their 70s, four from Bonneville County and one from Lemhi County.
Sadly, the deaths of community members continue to escalate. When we see spikes in cases, they are followed by hospitalizations and then deaths. The hospitalizationd are stressing our hospitals and the deaths are fracturing our families. Please help us get this under control by following the simple public health guidelines we have stressed since the spring.
